How Your Information is Shared

We may share Personal Information provided through this Site externally with our charitable affiliates, partners and third-party vendors, when there is a legitimate operational or charitable purpose. We will not sell your Personal Information to third-party organizations.

How Your Information is Stored

Your Personal Information may be stored on internal and external servers and databases.  We use, or contract with third parties that use, encryption technology to store and protect bank and credit card payment information. We store your Personal Information for as long as needed to fulfill the particular purpose for which it was collected and to further our mission. Your Options Regarding Your Personal Information

Submission of your Personal Information is entirely voluntary.  If you decline to submit your Personal Information for any reason you may, however, be unable to use certain Site features or receive certain services.  Once submitted, you may receive promotional emails from us or our affiliates.  If you do not wish to receive promotional emails or other communications, you may opt out of the recipient list by contacting the Privacy Office at secretary@gtn273.com.  If you wish to review or verify the Personal Information collected by us, you may request to do so by contacting the Secretary’s Office.  You may also request a change, update, correction, or deletion of your Personal Information by contacting the Secretary’s Office.

“Do Not Track” (DNT) Disclosure

If your browser or your computer software has an enabled a DNT feature to inform us that you do not wish to have your Personal Information collected by accessing the Site, we will be unable to respond to the request solely from receiving the signal. You must make the request to have your Personal Information removed by contacting the Privacy Office directly at secretary@gtn273.com

Privacy of Children

We do not intend to collect or use personal information about children under the age of 13.  If you are between the ages of 13 and 17, please use our Site only with adult supervision. If you are under 13, please do not send any Personal Information to us. If we learn that we have collected Personal Information from a child under age 13, we will delete that information. If you believe that we might have any Personal Information from or about a child under 13, please contact us at the contact information below.

COLLECTION OF PHONE NUMBERS

As members of Golden Trowel Norwalk Lodge #278, Grand Lodge of California may collect your phone numbers only when you voluntarily provide it to them, for example, during signup, inquiries, or when you sign up for our promotional messages. You can opt in to receive these SMS messages either by clicking on the welcome pop-up (which shows to new members) by accessing their Communication Preferences section of your profile on freemason.org

USE OF PHONE NUMBERS FOR SMS

Your phone numbers are primarily used to provide you with personalized updates, direct 2 way communication and upcoming events. These text messages may relate to our events, services, or any updates that we think may interest you.  We may also provide event updates, notifications through SMS messages. SMS messaging charges may be applied by your carrier. We will only share your phone number with our SMS provider, subject to their privacy policy.  We use Freemason.org to send all SMS communications to users who have opted in.

OPTING OUT OF MARKETING MESSAGES

If at any time you wish to stop receiving marketing SMS from us, you can opt out by

-Texting UNSUBSCRIBE to opt-out

-Texting CANCEL to opt-out

-Texting QUIT to opt-out

Please note that the opt-out process may take up to 10 business days to become effective. During this period, you may still receive some messages from us.

PRIVACY OF PHONE NUMBERS

Once you have opted out, we will not send you any more SMS messages, nor will we transfer your phone number to another party.
